He holds a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep credential and specializes in Level 2 camera inspections, the kind that finds the crack hiding behind a smoke chamber wall. Marcus is the one who taught our apprentices that “glazed creosote is not a personality trait anyone wants their chimney to have,” and he means it. Off the clock, he restores vintage motorcycles in a garage near Valley Forge, which explains why he’s unusually calm about tight spaces and stubborn bolts.
Dana R. - Senior Installer, Liner & Rebuild Specialist
Dana came to us from commercial HVAC, and she brought a rigor that changed how we approach liner pulls. She’s certified in HeatShield cerfractory flue repair and handles our DuraFlex stainless relines from consultation to final smoke test. Dana will tell you exactly why a partial liner collapse in a Tredyffrin colonial needs addressing now, and she’ll show you the camera footage so you see it too. James K. - Service Coordinator & Dispatch
James is the live voice that answers when you call (484) 806-9176 at 10 PM because you smelled something odd after the first fire of the season. He’s been with Level Two Chimney since 2017, and he knows which tech has the right rig for a steep slate roof in Chesterbrook versus a rancher in Berwyn. James writes every estimate that goes out, and he’s the one who makes sure Clause 1 of the Haven Standard happens - written price, written scope, written warranty, before anyone schedules. He also brews aggressively strong coffee and maintains that this is a professional qualification for coordinating emergency calls.
Aisha M. - Apprentice Technician, Second-Year
Aisha joined us after finishing her associate’s in building science at Delaware County Community College, and she’s quickly become the team member we trust with our most meticulous crown rebuilds. She’s completed her CSIA Chimney Sweep certification and is working toward her Level 2 inspection credential under Marcus’s mentorship. Aisha has a particular eye for spalling brick - the freeze-thaw damage you see on chimneys after hard Pennsylvania winters - and she documents every stage with the thoroughness that makes Clause 4 of the Haven Standard actually mean something. She lives in Wayne, grew up in a house with a fireplace that was never once properly inspected, and says that’s why she’s here.
